  • Is there transportation from the Alpine Lodge to and from Courtenay? 
    • Yes, the resort has a small shuttle bus to and from  Courtenay. Please contact their store at the Alpine lodge to obtain the necessary information.
  • Is there a grocery store near or at the Nordic or Alpine lodges? 
    • There is no grocery store.
  • Can I drive directly to the chalet? 
    • During the winter season, due to high snow volumes, it is required that you park in the identified parking lots below the chalet. It is only a 5 minute walk to the chalet. There are sleds located at the chalet to help you bring in your supplies.
  • Is there WiFi provided at the Chalet?
    • The chalet does provide WiFi and cell service is excellent as well.
  • Are there televisions in each rental unit?
    • There are no televisions but we provide an excellent selection of board games.
  • When do Spring/Summer rates begin?
    • The Spring/Summer rates begin after the end of the ski season.
    • The Winter rates are during the ski season.
  • Do I need to have winter tires and/or chains during the winter?
    • It is suggested that you have winter tires. On occasion chains are mandatory during snow storms to drive up Mt Washington. It is suggested that you carry chains, a tarp, and a flashlight. There are chain up areas along the road.
  • Is there a restaurant ?
    • There are restaurants . Please check on Mt Washington Alpine Resort’s website for details.
  • Can I ski to and from the chalet?
    • Yes, the chalet is excellent located so you can ski in and out without hiking.
  • Do you provide recycling services?
    • Yes, we provide recycling bins and empty these on a regular basis.
